Larry Charles Dickinson, a native Montgomery and a resident of Grove Hill, was born July 5, 1957 to the parentage of Clara Mae Daniels Dickinson and the late Charles Dickinson. He was 56. He passed away March 26, 2014.

He was a member of Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church. He graduated from Clarke County High School in 1976. His hobbies included fishing and lawn care. He was employed with the Alabama Department of Transportation until his health failed.

He is survived by his devoted family; mother, Clara Mae Dickinson of Grove Hill; three sisters, one devoted, Shirley (Pervis) Peavy of Semmes, Charlie Mae Pugh of Grove Hill and Loretta (Odell Grayson) Law of Gosport, three brothers, Sylvester (Sherri) Dickinson of Thomasville, one devoted, Phillip Dickinson of Grove Hill, and Mack Neal (Ursula) Dickinson of Allen, TX; a host of nieces, one devoted, Alysha Peavy; nephews, aunts, one devoted, Pearlie B. Chapman of Grove Hill; uncles, other relatives and friends; devoted friends, Dan Barlow, Juanita Taylor, and Sandra Dickinson.

Viewing will be Thursday, April 3 at 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service at Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church in Grove Hill with Rev. William Jackson, pastor and eulogist.
