Cristful Chapman, 67, a native of Winn and a resident of Moss Point, Miss., answered the Master’s call Jan. 2, 2018 while at Singer River Hospital.

He was born Oct. 10, 1950 to Evans and Annie Mae Johnson Chapman. He was a graduate of Coffeeville High School. He was employed with Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, Miss.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Aaron (Evelyn) Chapman, Winn; three sisters, Olean Martin, Mattie Chapman and Mary Lee Chapman, all of Winn; one stepson, Kendrick Dunckley, Pascagoula, Miss.; stepdaughter, Roshonda Powell, Moss Point, Miss.; four step-grandchildren; best friend, Lewis Tate, Moss Point, Miss.; special friend, Beverly Booker, Moss Point, Miss.; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Richard, Lee, Samuel and Lewis Chapman; one sister, Mable Pope; and special friend, Lee Esther Powell.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home, 203 East Ross St., Jackson, Ala. with Min. Evelyn Chapman as eulogist.
