Rita Delaine Harrison Williams, 45, died Jan. 30, 2018.

Rita was born May 22, 1972 in Thomasville. She graduated from Clarke County High School in 1990 and Alabama Southern Community College in 1992 with a degree in nursing. She shared her gift for service with her patients and colleagues for several years.

Our hearts are dearly blessed by all of the expressions of love for Rita and her children, and our family. We each had a unique and individual way which we knew and remember Rita. She had a great capacity to love and she also experienced many struggles. We honor all of those in our thoughts and memories of her.

She is survived by her mother, Cheryl Harrison Wright; two daughters, Lyndsey Christina Harrrison and Brooke LaShay Williams; a brother, Keith Eddie (Michael Dorris) Harrison; a sister, Darla Harrison (Chris) Burbank; one nephew, (Sullivan Burbank), aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Eddie Harrison, her grandparents, Bealie and Willie Mae Harrison and James Richard and Mary Ballard.

We warmly invite you to join our family home at 14395 Highway 154 in the Chilton Community this Saturday, Feb. 3 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. where we will share joyful memories of her and comfort each other in our tremendous loss.

To honor Rita’s wishes a private family service will be held.
