Mary Fay Parden, 78, of Coffeeville died Jan. 25, 2018 at DCH Regional Hospital.

She was born Oct. 3, 1939 in Fayette County to John Druden and Eunice Ozema Clardy. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Coffeeville. She was a retired elementary school teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas E. Parden Sr., Coffeeville; son, Tom (Janet) Parden, Coffeeville; two daughters, Beth Parden, Tuscaloosa, Ellen (Ken) Hamilton, Thomasville; two brothers, J.D. (Fran) Clardy, Linden, Bob (Nila) Clardy, Mobile; six grandchildren, Cari Hamilton, Jill Hamilton, both of Thomasville, Crystal (Robert) Crouch, Chatom, Allison Parden, Butler, Crystal (Phillip) Moody, Butler, Lauren Huckabee, Jackson; five great-grandchildren, Amelia Crouch, Chatom, Avery Harris, Howard Moody, Ella Moody, all of Butler.

The service was Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Coffeeville with Rev. Brent Fuller officiating. Burial was in the Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Jimmy Anderson, Dwain Clardy, Charles Hamilton, Allen Hamilton, Robert Crouch and Phillip Moody.

Honorary pallbearers were The Ladies Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church of Coffeeville.
