Lottie Mae Hare, age 96, a homemaker of Dickinson, died March 4, 2018 at Jackson Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 20, 1921 in Greenwood to James Robert and Carrie Sue Andrews. She was a lifelong member of Bassett Creek Baptist Church in Grove Hill. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Carrah H. (Ernest Jr.) McCorquodale and two grandsons, Ernest C. McCorquodale III and William "Bill" F. Mc- Corquodale II.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cecil Hare, five brothers, Homer T. (Elizabeth) Andrews, Coley L. (Ruby) Andrews, J.C. (Bardie) Andrews, Robbie Dee (Annie Bell) Andrews and Eason A. Andrews; two sisters, Lucille (Jessie) Hudson and Opal (John) Myrick.

The service will be Thursday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at Bassett Creek Baptist Church with Revs. Percy Clarke, Bill Allison and Henry “Digger” Creel officiating. Burial will be in the Bassett Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Grove Hill.

Active pallbearers will be Paul Jackson, Tony Cook, Troy Cook, Hugh Freeman, Matthew Chancey and Rhett Chancey.
