Annie Mary Phillips, 68, a resident of the Manila community, made her earthly transition Friday, May 4, 2018 at Camden Nursing Home in Camden.

She was born Dec. 29, 1949 to Cora and Frank Phillips. Mary was raised by her grandparents, Hattie and Willie Phillips. She was a member of Little Burrah Baptist Church in Manila. She was a member of the Harper High School graduating Class of 1970.

Left to cherish her memories are her six sisters, Lee Fields, Allston, Mass., Carrie Taylor, Jackson, Faye (Rev. Terry) Hunt, Alma, Annie P. Phillips, Mobile, Shellie Pugh, Toddtown and Ethel (Willie) Jackson, Gainestown; two brothers, Frank (Rutha) Phillips, Camden and Fred (Mary) Portis, Suggsville; a special friend, James Finch; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Hattie and Willie Phillips and Cornelia Washington.

The homegoing service was May 12 at 11 a.m. at Cedar Fork Baptist Church in Suggsville with Rev. Lakendrick Howard, pastor, and Rev. Jimmy Snell as officiating minister. Interment was in the Cedar Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
